 Music has to be the food of life, I cant imagine a day without music.


 These are 5 songs that are  frequently featuring on my playlist lately.


Song title- Despacito Remix

Artist- Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat Justin Bieber

The song is mostly sang in Spanish, but sometimes you don't really need to know what the song really says as the beat does most of the job in terms of setting the vibe. I thoroughly enjoy this song because it makes me imagine myself on the beach sipping on something cold, jamming away.


Song title- Wild Thoughts



Artist- DJ Khaled feat Rihanna & Bryson Tiller

Found on his latest album Grateful DJ Khaled has another hit on his hands. Rihanna has to be the queen of sex appeal, she oozes confidence effortlessly. This song has been number 1, 10 weeks in a row. The song has strongly sampled the very popular song ' Maria Maria', which adds a nostalgic touch. Although the song borders on raunchy it still has the subtle sexiness with the help of Bryson Tillers vocals.

The Umlazi born artist, has showcased another side to him on this song. as it is more of a slow jam. chilled vibes and romantic. It is a must listen!

Artist- Cassper Nyovest feat Goapele

This has to be my favourite song out of his Thuto album. He has opened up in this song, in a way we haven't seen before. I love the honesty he has expressed in the lyrics, the voice of Goapele also adds a beautiful touch to the ear. The video is also on another level and is a must see!

Artist- DEJ LOAF

Dej Loaf has to be one of the best female rapper and vocalist in the industry. Her laid back vibe is infectious when listening to her songs. She invites you on a journey with her through her relatable lyrics. Her star just keeps rising.

Thursday All Access- In Conversation with Connie Zitha

  Meet Connie Zitha who has mastered the art of plaiting, and hair magic. While her 7year old peers were running the streets, she was getting lessons on how to plait hair by her mom. This didn't sit well with her in fact it came as an irritation, but little did she know that the plaiting lessons would build her an empire.  I had a chance to sit down and get to know her business a bit better.  At the age of 13 years she started taking plaiting seriously, even got encouragement from clients to start her own business.
