In the month of August it is only right that we celebrate women who are doing great for themselves and the community. This week the spotlight is on a young woman Dr. Phathiswa Mukansi, a force to be reckoned with.

She is a qualified Homeopath, holding a masters degree of technology from the University of Johannesburg.  The passion she has for health, has lead her to the path of opening up her own business. My health services has been operational for the past 4 years, they offer occupational health medical examinations which is a legal requirement from the department of labour.

The co-operate wellness program offers, their unique selling point is the fact that results can be received after 15 minutes.  Travelling to the different companies is made convenient by the mobile clinic used.

She has a lot plans to grow her business, to be one of the leading health care givers in the country, however her ambition won’t let her stay stagnant she wants to venture into the world of property.  When asked about why businesses fail before they can even take flight, is due to various reasons such as starting it for the wrong reasons and not particularly looking into the broad aspects of a business which is vital.

She highly encourages entrepreneurship and advices that they should push through the challenges, be driven by passion, be disciplined at all times as well as educate themselves about finances that affect a business. Lastly she shared that there is not simple way of building a business from scratch but the important thing is to stay focused and not be deterred by what people say.

Watching soap operas  as families played a role in our childhoods, the villain's brought even more spice to the scenes. That is why I have compiled a list of  villains that will always be in our memories. #1 Laqasha from Sgudis Snaysi He wasn't a villain per say, but he sure did give us a scare when he came around with his stick ready to break Sdumo's knees.
