Monday- Weekend Review- Looking back at the weekend that was
Minnie becomes Mrs Jones ,the Springboks join Bafana Bafana's whatsapp group and Johannesburg comes to a standstill with this years Major League Gardens event . Lets review the weekend.
Minnie becomes Mrs Jones
The #BecomingMrsJones has been trending the whole weekend, Minnie Dlamini has become Mrs Jones at a lavish affair in Capetown. Her celebrity friends were dressed to impress . Here are some pictures from the wedding guests.
The South of Johannesburg came to a standstill at this years Major League Gardens
The annual party or bash whatever you want to call it, came to life this past weekend with various performances from the trendiest artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Mr Obo himself Davido, Shomadjozi, Okmalumcoolkat, Black Motion and many more here are some pictures from the event.
The Springboks have decided to join Bafana Bafana's whatsapp group, the losers club.
The anti climax of this weekend has to be the boys in green and gold, and no I'm not referring to Bafana Bafana but the Springboks. They were thrashed 57-0 landing themselves in the record books for all the wrong reasons. And of course the coach gave us the classic excuse of '' we will have to bounce back as quickly as possible'', good luck to them on doing that.
Mamelodi Sundowns have a slight advantage over WYAD Casablanca
Mamelodi Sundowns welcomed WYDAD Casablanca of Morocco, to a packed yellow Lucas Moripe Stadium. The first 45 minutes of the game, the home team were not to be seen on the field, as WYDAD was prepared to defend for as long as possible. A Hlompho Kekana cracker gave us hope but unfortunately it was a deflection. The second half however was much better for Pitso's boys, as they attacked more and seemed to be focused. The substitution of Yannick Zakri proved to be a success as he scored the only goal of the match, giving Mamelodi Sundowns a slight advantage as they head to Morocco to play the second leg this coming Saturday.
And my best dressed for this weekend was former Yotv presenter Selae Thobakgale, she looked eloquent as a guest at Minnies nuptials
And that's it for this weekends review, How did your weekend go? what caught your eyes lets share:)
